Salam! I’m Fatima, welcome to My Darija Guide!
I am a Moroccan woman living in Italy, and I created this website with one big dream: to help travelers from all over the world connect with my beautiful country, Morocco.
When I moved to Italy, I realized how much tourists love Morocco, but they struggle with the language. Moroccan Darija is not like Arabic from books – it’s our daily language, full of heart and warmth. I saw tourists in Marrakech who wanted to buy something in the souk or order a delicious tagine, but they couldn’t say a word!
That’s why I started mydarijaguide.com.
My mission is simple: to teach you real, practical Darija words Moroccans actually use every day. No complicated grammar, just useful phrases for shopping, eating, traveling, and making friends in Morocco.
Here you will find easy guides, with English, Darija, Arabic, and pronunciation, so you can speak with confidence from day one.
